Here at ThirdSpace Action Lab, History is critical to our work as it is essential to know our shared history and to be able ground in the Groundwater metaphor, which is an essential part of ThirdSpace’s practice.
We are history lovers, and the Chocolate City Cleveland map and website are all about the history of Black Cleveland to honor our present and to envision our future.
#BlackHistoryisAmericanHistory
As history lovers we know just how daunting it can be to begin researching and digging into city, family, and the nation’s history. Below are the references, sites, and archives we have used for discovery, photos, and interviews in our ongoing work to bring this project to life. This page will continue to grow and evolve, as our project does.
